You may remember doing hearing tests in school. Back then, they stuck headphones on your head and told you to raise your hand every time you heard a beep.
There are three types of hearing loss: conductive hearing loss, sensorineural hearing loss and mixed hearing loss. Conductive hearing loss (CHL) typically occurs when there is an issue with the external ear, ear canal, eardrum or ear bones, whereas sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) is a problem with the inner ear or the nerve pathways to the brain. Mixed hearing loss is a combination of the two.
Our office in Sun City West is located about 23 miles northwest of our Phoenix location. Even though Sun City West isn’t right near the hustle and bustle of Phoenix, there are still plenty of things to do in the area. The area is a great place for younger and older folks alike.
